The Aether I was a mod released by GildedGames on July 22, 2011. The mod includes the Aether realm, the opposite of The Nether that includes several new blocks, mobs, items, and an accessory system. It was compatible with Java Edition Beta 1.7.3, 1.0.0, and 1.2.5.
It was succeeded by The Aether II: Genesis of the Void on June 11, 2012 and overall adds to the experience.
Getting to the Aether[]
The Aether Portal, used in both The Aether I and II.
To get to the Aether, the player must make a Nether Portal formation out of Glowstone and place water with water bucket in one of the top corners.
