Installation[]

Forge[]

  • Older Versions
    1. First, you will need FML (Forge Mod Loader) Obviously.
    2. At the link, go to the most recent version of FML for the version of Minecraft you want it for, and click, "(Universal)"
    3. Go to start and click run, type %appdata% and open you .minecraft folder.
    4. Locate the versions folder inside your .minecraft folder.
    5. Copy the version folder you want for forge and simply paste it back in the folder.
    6. Rename the folder and all it's contents to Minecraft Version-Forge.
    7. Open the .jar file and the downloaded Forge zip using Winrar
    8. Drag and drop all files from the forge zip into the jar.
    9. Delete Meta.inf once done or else Minecraft will reset the entire jar back to it's original state.
    10. Load up Minecraft to allow it to download all the necessary files. Close and done
  • Newer Versons
  1. First, you will need FML (Forge Mod Loader) Obviously.
  2. At the link, go to the most recent version of FML, and click, "(Installer)", for using the new installer is much easier.
  3. Make sure you download it as an application, with '.exe' on the end. If this can't be done, just right-click the file, hit open with, then select Java SE Binary.
  4. When it opens, select the client, and continue. Forge is now installed on your minecraft!
  5. Load up Minecraft to allow it to download all the necessary files. Close and done

Modloader[]

  • All Versions
    1. Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
    2. Browse to .minecraft/bin
    3. Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
    4. Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
    5. Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
    6. Run Minecraft, enjoy!

Blazeloader[]

  • 1.6.4 and higher
  1. Download Blazeloader
  2. Simply open up the zip with Winrar or another archiver program.
  3. There Should be a Readme.rtf, open it.
  4. Follow the step in the readme and you have Blazeloader set up
  5. Run Minecraft, enjoy!.
